This was really simple with Photoshop's newer tools, however I did have to use some masks to remove extra color that was clouding up the lower half of the photo.

I have been scanning and retouching family photos since the price of scanners became affordable in the late 1990's, but I may never finish as we have an endless number of photos going back a hundred years.
