This logo was designed for a local beer league hockey team (My first team, actually) by John Cassano in 2001. All I had to go on was a small, low resolution sticker of the artwork, which is what I based the finished Illustrator recreation on the right. John was as good a hockey player as he was an artist, meaning, he was our fastest skater and best scorer! In utilizing Illustrator to recreate his ink drawing, (No Image Trace was used here) I couldn't help but be impressed with his talent.
